Celebrating a 99 Year Legacy
A LETTER FROM PRESIDENT & OWNER STEVEN BORSOOK: In 1926, when my grandfather started the company, I don’t think he would have imagined his dream would last this long… but it is with sadness that all good things sometimes do come to an end. Progress requires a new subway line and unfortunately our factory is in the way. With heavy hearts, Spring 2025 will be our final season. To everyone who has been so important to us for 99 years… Our wonderful suppliers, our family of employees here now, those who have worked with us over the years, and our loyal customers—all of you have contributed to our efforts in making something greater than the sum of our parts. We have argued, cried, toiled, cheered, smiled and beamed with pride as we desperately tried to make products that allowed women to feel warmer, beautiful, confident, or just plain comfortable. All of our families were immigrants to this great country at one point in time and because of this, we are honored to have been the supplier of berets and sweaters to our Armed Forces for many years. A service to our country we will never forget. We salute all who made, bought or sold our Parkhurst and Cotton Country products and hope you will remember us for what we tried to do – make it right, make it well and make it in Canada. Thank you for giving my grandfather, my father and myself the opportunity as we thank you for your loyalty and support for almost a century.
